Rotary International is working on future plans which will impact on the regional structure of Rotary around the world. Two countries have been chosen to pilot support for changes in regional structures in Rotary- Great Britain and New Zealand. A vote to support change will be taken in these two countries in September. A two thirds vote is required of all clubs in order for the plan to proceed at RI level.
 
We will be attending a dinner meeting at the Tawa Rotary Club next Tuesday 9 August to hear 9940 Rotary District Governor Elect Wayne Gordon outline these plans and for discussion with Rotarians present. Meetings of Clubs in our District are being held in August and in early September.
 
Next Tuesday evening Karori Rotary will meet with the Tawa Club, Mt Victoria and Johnsonville Clubs at the Tawa Bowling Club in Davies St Tawa for a dinner meeting. Badges for those attending will be brought to the meeting.
 
There will be a cash only bar from 5.45pm, dinner at 6.15pm. speaker at 7pm and conclude around 8pm.
